This website is operated by The Electric Lavender Train (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information is handled when you use this website, its inquiry forms, newsletter signup and unsubscribe links, embedded media, event-media submission link, or testimonial submission link.

Information you provide

The Contact & Booking page offers Booking, Merchandise, General, and Content Removal Request forms. Depending on the form, we may ask for your name, email address, optional phone number, organization or venue, event type and date, city or venue location, audience size, budget, song requests, merchandise details, a subject, a message, or information identifying content you want us to review. The removal form requires either a direct link or a plain-language description of where the content appears, and it does not accept file uploads.

Do not submit payment card numbers, government identification numbers, medical information, or other sensitive information through these forms. Submitting a booking inquiry does not confirm availability or create a booking. Submitting a removal request starts a review and does not guarantee removal.

If you email us at info@theelectriclavendertrain.com, Google handles the message through Gmail and we receive whatever information you choose to include.

How inquiry forms work

A working inquiry form sends your submission directly from your browser to Formspree. Formspree processes the form, may retain a copy, applies its spam and CAPTCHA controls, and sends an email notification to us. Formspree may also receive technical information normally associated with a web request, such as your IP address, browser or device information, submission time, and referring page. An inquiry never subscribes you to the newsletter.

How we use information

• To respond to booking, merchandise, general, and content-removal inquiries;
• To communicate about a potential or confirmed engagement;
• To operate the newsletter when you separately request it;
• To review event media and testimonials you voluntarily submit;
• To prevent spam, abuse, and security incidents; and
• To keep records reasonably needed for business, accounting, dispute, or legal purposes.

We do not sell personal information, use inquiry information for behavioral advertising, or add inquiry senders to a marketing list without separate consent.

Newsletter signup

The newsletter signup link opens a form hosted by Brevo rather than a form on this website. The form collects your email address for one weekly ELT schedule newsletter. It does not offer a separate show-alert list or preference. Signup uses double opt-in: Brevo sends a confirmation message, and you are not subscribed until you confirm.

The hosted form may use Google reCAPTCHA to distinguish people from automated submissions. When it does, Google may receive technical information about your visit and interaction under Google's own terms and privacy policy. Brevo may process delivery, bounce, open, and link-click information according to the settings applied to our account and Brevo's own practices.

You can unsubscribe through the recipient-specific link included in every newsletter. You may also use our hosted unsubscribe form (opens in a new tab). Either path blocklists (suppresses) your address from future email campaigns. Brevo, our newsletter provider, may still retain your contact record and list history — including that you unsubscribed — so it can honor the opt-out and avoid accidentally re-mailing or re-importing the address without a valid new consent. You may also contact us to request deletion, though a suppression record itself may need to persist to keep the address excluded.

Event-media submissions

The “Share Your Event Media” link opens a Google Form. The upload and consent process occurs on Google's systems, not this website. Google may require sign-in and may associate the response with your Google account. The form may collect your contact information, event details, uploaded photos or video, and your required acknowledgment that you reviewed this Privacy Policy and agree to the Terms of Use, including the event-media submission terms.

Submission does not guarantee publication. Do not submit media you lack permission to share. Do not submit media whose primary subject is a child. Media containing other identifiable people may require additional permission and may be declined.

Testimonial submissions

The “Share Your Experience” link on the About page opens a Google Form owned by Hunter, not a form on this website. The form may collect your name, a private email address, your relationship to or experience with Electric Lavender Train, your testimonial text, how you'd like to be publicly credited (or that you'd prefer to stay anonymous), an optional supporting link, and your required acknowledgment that you reviewed this Privacy Policy and agree to the Terms of Use, including the testimonial-submission terms.

Submissions are reviewed manually; submitting a testimonial does not guarantee it will be published. Only the quote and attribution wording we approve for publication is copied into this website's public content. Your private email address, acknowledgment response, and any review notes stay in the private Google Form and its response spreadsheet — never in public website content. We may lightly edit an approved testimonial for length or clarity without changing its meaning, as described in the Terms of Use. If you'd like a published testimonial removed or corrected, use the Content Removal Request form on the Contact & Booking page or email us directly; submitting a request starts our review and does not automatically guarantee removal.

Service providers and external services

• Formspree processes configured inquiry forms and delivers notifications.
• Google provides Gmail, Google Forms/Drive for event-media and testimonial submissions, reCAPTCHA where displayed, and YouTube.
• Brevo hosts the newsletter forms and manages subscriptions and email delivery.
• Sanity stores public editorial content; it does not receive inquiry or newsletter submissions.
• Our website host serves the site and may keep routine access and security logs.

Links to social, ticketing, streaming, pre-save, payment/tipping, and other third-party sites take you to services with their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control those services.

YouTube videos

Embedded videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain and do not create a player until you choose to activate one. After activation, YouTube/Google processes the interaction under its own policies and may display advertising. Privacy-enhanced mode reduces requests before activation but does not eliminate third-party processing after you play a video.

Website logs, cookies, and analytics

Our host may process standard access and security information such as IP address, requested page, timestamp, and browser details. We do not configure first-party analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tools, or behavioral-advertising cookies on this website. External hosted pages and an activated YouTube player may use their own cookies or similar technologies. If we add non-essential tracking to this website, we will update this policy and review whether consent controls are required before enabling it.

Retention

We have not configured a separate ELT automatic-deletion schedule in Formspree, Brevo, or Google Forms. Records in those services follow the account's current plan, the provider's default behavior, and the manual actions described below. Provider-controlled logs, backups, and suppression records may follow separate provider schedules.

• Inquiries: Formspree keeps dashboard submission history according to the account's plan and default settings. Notification emails remain in Gmail until they are manually deleted. We may retain records needed for an active engagement, accounting, disputes, security, a removal outcome, or legal obligations.
• Newsletter: Brevo keeps contact and campaign information under its account defaults. Unsubscribing blocklists the address from campaigns; Brevo may retain the contact, list history, and a suppression record so the opt-out continues to be honored.
• Google Forms: event-media and testimonial responses, linked spreadsheet rows, and uploaded files remain in Hunter's Google account until they are manually deleted or Google applies its own account, storage, or service rules. Deleting a form response does not automatically delete a linked spreadsheet row or uploaded file, so each location must be reviewed separately.
• Published content: selected media, approved testimonial wording, attribution, and supporting permission records may be retained as reasonably necessary while the content is used and to handle later correction or removal requests.

When we receive a valid access, correction, deletion, or content-removal request, we review the records we control in the relevant provider accounts and remove or correct them where appropriate, unless continued retention is reasonably required for a contract, accounting, dispute, security, suppression, or legal obligation. Deletion from an active account may not immediately remove provider-controlled backups or logs.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted by emailing info@theelectriclavendertrain.com. For published content, you may also use the Content Removal Request form. We will review the request and may retain information when reasonably required for a contract, accounting, dispute, security, suppression, or legal obligation. Newsletter recipients can unsubscribe through the link in any newsletter or the hosted unsubscribe form described above.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and provider-supported safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please use the contact methods above if you believe information has been submitted or exposed improperly.

Children's privacy

This website and its forms are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information, submitted a testimonial, or appears in submitted media so we can review it.

California and international visitors

The categories of personal information handled are limited to the identifiers, inquiry content, subscription information, submitted media, submitted testimonial content, and technical information described above. We do not sell this information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The site is operated from the United States; information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website or services change. A material revision will be shown by changing the effective date above.
